Tufts Medicine

Medical magazine cover -- newOverview:
Tufts Medicine is the primary voice for the Tufts University School of Medicine, Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences and the Tufts Medical Alumni Association. The magazine reports on the contributions of the school’s alumni/ae to medical practice, research and education, as well as on significant projects and programs under way at the school, with the goal of building alumni/ae pride in the institution.

In effect, the magazine is internal in focus and external in vision, striving to blend the best of a university publication and a general-interest magazine.

A singular goal of the magazine has been to convey the feeling of far-ranging intellectual excitement and vitality that Tufts Medical School radiates through the life of its students, faculty and graduates. The underlying presumption behind the magazine’s reporting remains simple: Medicine is not just test tubes and chemicals; medicine is the world.

The audience for Tufts Medicine includes full-time and clinical faculty, staff and graduates of Tufts University School of Medicine and its affiliated hospitals; the Sackler School; parents of currently enrolled students; friends and supporters of the school and deans of the U.S. and Canadian medical schools.

Circulation:
The magazine has a press run of 16,500 and is published three times each year.
