Editorial Style Guides

University Editorial Style Guide (PDF)
This guide was created as a quick reference tool to help Tufts communicators follow a style that is consistent and appropriate. The guide follows conventions outlined in The Chicago Manual of Style, but there are exceptions specific to the university. Among the covered categories are: abbreviations; academic degrees; capitalization; dates and times; inclusive language; numbers; and punctuation.
